I built HigherAble after realizing manual applications were slow, inconsistent, and hard to learn from. The goal is simple: tailor each application faster and track what actually works.
- Does HigherAble generate cover letters too?
- Yes. Every job capture gives you the option to generate a resume, a cover letter, or both. Cover letters are tailored to the same posting and pull from your base resume. No generic templates.
- Is the output ATS-readable?
- HigherAble controls the formatting, not the screening decision. It outputs clean single-column PDF and DOCX files with no tables, text boxes, images, or hidden characters. Those are the formatting patterns that commonly break ATS parsers. No tool can guarantee you pass a screen.
- Does it invent experience I don't have?
- No. The Cloud Agent rewrites and reorders content from the base resume you provide. It rephrases bullets to match the posting's language, and it's instructed to keep your roles, dates, employers, and qualifications as written. Always review the document before you send it, and email support@higherable.ai if anything looks wrong.
- What does the Chrome extension actually read?
- Only the content of the tab you click it on: the job title, description, company, source URL, and (when detectable) the ATS platform. It doesn't read other tabs, your browsing history, cookies, or anything in the background.
- How is my data handled?
- Your base resume, captured job postings, and application history are stored in your HigherAble account. We don't sell your personal data. We use service providers to operate HigherAble, including hosting and AI processing. See the privacy policy for full details, or email support@higherable.ai.
- What counts as a generation?
- One resume or one cover letter is one generation. Failed generations don't count. Your 10 free generations don't expire.
- What does HigherAble Pro include?
- It's the hosted generation service that turns your base resume and a captured job posting into a tailored resume or cover letter. You control your base resume from Settings.
- Is it on the Chrome Web Store?
- Yes. HigherAble is available on the Chrome Web Store. Install it, sign in, then paste your connection key from Settings. The key links the extension to your account. It's included, so you don't need your own AI subscription.
